Mental Capacity and Best Interests Train the Trainer

If you own a care home, nursing home or manage one, we understand how tight training budgets can be.  That’s why we’ve developed a Mental Capacity and Best Interests Train the Trainer course. Unlike our other training courses, individual places are available on this course. Please contact us if you are interested in this course or would like this course delivered to your staff. Due to the design of this course, places are strictly limited to 15 but can run from as few as 8 people.

The course is 3 days long and provides delegates with all the knowledge and skills they need to be able to teach a half-day Mental Capacity Assessment or full-day Mental Capacity Assessment & Best Interests course to individuals and groups at your workplace. Day 2 of the course is the complete course that delegates will be teaching so there’s plenty of opportunity to brush up your skills before the end of the course. No teaching experience is necessary because day 1 covers learning styles and teaching methods that we use ourselves so we know they work! At the end of the course, you’ll not only get a certificate of completion of the 1 day Mental Capacity Act & Best Interests and a 3 day Mental Capacity Assessment & Best Interests Train the Trainer Certificate but also an electronic version of the half-day and full-day courses that you can use yourselves when teaching or adapt to meet your specific needs.
